Fear

When i was little, I had a lot of fears. One of them was that my mom and stepdad would get a divorce because they had been fighting A LOT. I was about twelve and lived in Star Prairie. I went to Osceola Middle School at that time and everytime my mom and stepdad would start fighting i would crawl into a corner or in my bed and sometimes I actually made myself sick over worrying about it. Eventually, they did break up and we moved to New Richmond, but I think it was for the best. My fear relates to Lord Of The Flies because in the book, the children want their parents and to be saved by adults and just miss their parents. I missed my stepdad when he left and that's how my fear relates to Lord Of The Flies.

  1. Good relations to the story. I cant comprehend being on an island with all my buds, without parents :D

  2. I understand what you went though. My parents got divorced when I was three and ever since then I've caught myself having troubles becoming close to people because I think they're just going to walk out of my life. And also I hate when people fight, ahhh why cant everyone just be happy! (:

  3. A heart-breaking entry. The adult world is so complex, and while they seemingly are able to "fix" the problems children face, remember that WWII is in the backdrop of this novel (adults can't get along, either). Thanks for sharing this!
